Capturing the greatest investment opportunity of our lifetime

The needs of rapidly growing and evolving cities present a tremendous investment opportunity. Accelerating urbanization and changing demographics have put cities at the forefront of fundamental supply-demand imbalances that require capital, knowledge and execution capabilities. The need for more housing, improved flow of goods, and climate solutions are just some of the structural demands that inform our investment conviction and approach.

Since being founded in the Nordics in 2005, we have generated both a consistent track record and deep trust with investors and cities by capturing the greatest opportunity of our lifetime – one that generates attractive returns by creating value for society.

Proven strategies and execution capabilities to outperform

With 20 years of driving attractive risk-adjusted returns through more than 500 investments, our strategies span across real estate equity, debt financing and technology solutions, where we see unmet demands underpinned by structural tailwinds.

We invest in urban problem solving, guided by our four priorities:

Deliver attractive returns

Through investing capital with a strong focus on solving urban problems to the benefit of all stakeholders.

Pioneer problem-solving partnerships

To bridge the gap between the interests of people, cities, and capital. Historical misalignment has led to inadequate, sometimes even harmful, development of the urban ecosystem – we want to lead a new era where shared visions deliver shared benefits.

Catalyze healthy urban neighborhoods

Creating green and thriving places for people to prosper. This is all important in a world where nearly two thirds of the global population will be living in an urban environment by 2050.

Decarbonize the built environment

Emissions generated by and for cities account for ~70% of all global emissions. We decarbonize to drive risk and cost down, and profit, efficiency and long-term livability up.

Our essentials

As cities face multiple challenges arising from accelerating urbanization, we invest to help cities address these with a long-term, holistic approach. And we do this, grounded in a strong set of values, rooted in a Nordic culture.

Values

Making a Difference, Trust, Care, and Always Learning.

Purpose

We invest to help cities win the battles for our future.
