Urban Partners, through NSF IV, has entered into an agreement to sell Hannemanns Hus at Hannemanns Allé 59 in Ørestad to Formuepleje. The property comprises approximately 13,800 sqm, with 181 rental apartments and 25 serviced apartments.
Urban Partners acquired the site from City & Port through NSF IV and took possession in October 2022. At the time, it was one of the last remaining development plots in this part of Ørestad. Since then, Urban Partners has developed Hannemanns Hus together with 5E and Sweco, creating new rental apartments and serviced apartments.
Hannemanns Hus is located in Ørestad Syd, close to the metro, Fields and Amager Fælled, combining easy access to public transport and city life with proximity to nature. The development consists of two L-shaped buildings surrounding a shared courtyard. All apartments have a private balcony, and residents also have access to a shared rooftop terrace overlooking the surrounding area.
“From the outset, we saw an opportunity to create an attractive place to live in a part of Copenhagen that has developed significantly in recent years, and we are proud to see that vision now completed. Hannemanns Hus brings together several of the qualities we value when developing new homes: a strong location, good connections to the rest of the city and proximity to green spaces. We are therefore pleased to now hand over the property to Formuepleje,” says Thomas Riise-Jakobsen, Partner and Country Head at Urban Partners.
“Hannemanns Hus fits well with our investment strategy as a modern residential property in an attractive location within a well-established area with strong long-term growth prospects. The area benefits from strong infrastructure, easy access to the rest of Copenhagen and unique recreational qualities close to Amager Fælled. It is also being strengthened by new investments, including the recently opened Arena Skole og Fritid, which, with its school, sports and swimming facilities, will become an important focal point for the wider neighbourhood. We therefore see Hannemanns Hus as an attractive property with strong fundamentals for creating long-term value for our investors,” says Mikael Fogemann, Head of Real Estate at Formuepleje.
PwC, CBRE and Accura advised Urban Partners on the transaction, while Bech-Bruun, PwC and Sweco advised Formuepleje.
